In December 2005, Sarah Lauderdale and her husband Brian had a beautiful baby girl named Kyla Jane! They soon realized how difficult it was to find items that weren't too commercialized or totally baby-fied. By this, we mean things that are super cute for babies, but not so fashionable for the parents and they're the ones that have to tote these things around, right!?!
So, Sarah used her basic design and sewing skills to make Kyla a few little things, and then some for expecting friends and family as well. People would literally stop her on the street and ask "Where did you get that?" Before she knew it, orders started pouring in and Laudy Daudy !!! was 'born'!
Sarah was born and raised in Alaska, has been to EVERY state in the US, and has a Masters Degree in Education! She says the BEST things in life are family, good friends, a great cup of coffee, a new toothbrush, laughing really hard, campfires and a kiss good-night! She and her husband, Brian (who was a chef for over 18 years, but is now a happy stay-at-home-Papa!)4 year old Kyla and close to 2 year old Zoey live in gorgeous Bend, Oregon and feel very lucky every day!
